Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film most well-known for her roles in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already landed several television roles, which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated features featuring female stars. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects through the years. These projects included British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
